About
Hello!
My name is Noah Spannbauer and this is my online portfolio and blog. I’m an aspiring SharePoint developer, a builder of WordPress websites, an InfoPath forms developer, and a wanna-be blogger.
My history
After completing high school, I had no idea what career I wanted to pursue. So, I got myself a full-time job and took a few courses at the local community college. Before I knew it I had an Associate in Arts Degree and needed to find a career-oriented program.
I checked out the programs offered by Metropolitan State University and found Technical Communication. I thought to myself, “I’m tech saavy and I’m a good writer. I’m going to do that!” And, in May of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Technical Communication and minoring in Management Information Systems. The knowledge and skills I learned from this program are truly priceless; however, after working two technical writing internships, I realized that career just wasn’t for me.
One of my responsibilities as Distribution Operations Tech at Target was a site collection administrator for the largest site collection. I loved building complex sites, managing documents, and developing interactive InfoPath forms that helped the entire distribution network collaborate with each other and the corporate office. After some guidance from a friend about many different SharePoint careers, I thought to myself, “I could be a SharePoint developer. I’m going to do that!”
Now, I’m a developer in the Magenic Delivery Center working primarily with SharePoint. I also teach electronic portfolio building to other tech comm students at Metro State and occasionally build WordPress website for individuals.
